Marisa Whitmore

Marisa Whitmore (She/Her) is a local San Jose sound designer, audio engineer and live event technician. She studied sound and lighting design/technology at Loyola Marymount University, earning a BA in Theatre Arts. Postgrad, she worked in a large variety of venues in the Los Angeles theatre scene, including the Broadwater, the Skylight Theater, The Odyssey, a livestream cabaret studio and various locations of outdoor Shakespeare performances. Since then, she has moved back to the Bay and has been working primarily with The Mexican Heritage Plaza, along with a few other local companies. She is particularly excited to work on the SJ Sounds portion of the MMMFest this summer.
