Jinji
Angélique, aka "Jinji" is a writer, essayist, visual artist, filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist who performs pre-colonial indigenous Filipino music as part of Bay Area based band @kulintangdialect. Her works can be seen in publications such as 'The Filipina Feminists', 'Kasamahan Co.', 'Eastside Mag', to name a few. The latest project energizing her is her short documentary, "All That Glitters Is Bronze", which is currently making the rounds on the film festival circuit and has picked up several awards. She believes that we are all artists at heart, and that the act of creating, is more important than the result.
