Muse Lee

Muse Lee (he/him) is a writer and theatre artist. He is the creator of Aristos: the Musical, a queer pop/rock Iliad adaptation now producing an album. Beginning as an amateur passion project, the show has risen to resounding success, crowdfunded by a dedicated online fanbase, featuring a remote international ensemble, and fielding national invitations. Muse is currently a 2021-22 Visiting Artist at Harvard University Center for Hellenic Studies. In the Bay Area, alongside performing in plays, he has also participated in the Medea Project: Theater for Incarcerated Women/HIV Circle and taught a novel writing course at a court school to youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Muse enjoys rambling conversations about gender, amatonormativity, and why Captain Kirk is the best Star Trek captain (not necessarily related).
