Sean Emmett Thompson

Sean Emmett Thompson is an artist that strives to sound as much like himself as he does other people. He draws his influence from a wide swath of genres - from Folk, Math Rock, and Neo-Soul, to Jazz and Classical. Having a background both in being a self-taught upstart as well as possessing a Bachelor's in composition, Sean seeks to find a balance between these two seemingly disparate forces in his musical life. Drawing from this background, he strives to create smart and beautiful, yet simultaneously accessible, music. Sean Thompson is currently self-producing the four EP cycle entitled "Manzanita". About Manzanita - "Each release represents a strong part of our journey through life. Every journey has pain and loss; every journey has pure joy and celebration. Manzanita seeks to explore these seasons of life through symbolism and prose."
