Vivienne Truong

Vivienne Truong (she/her/hers) is an actress based in San Jose who is hoping to expand her reach in all areas of theatre! She graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Musical Theatre. Primarily an actor, you may have most recently seen her in Vietgone (City Lights Theatre Company), The Play That Goes Wrong (San Jose Stage Company), or Noises Off (The Pear Theatre). Vivienne is currently a staff member with Red Ladder Theatre Company, a social justice theatre company that works with under-served communities to nurture creativity and change through improvisational workshops. She finds that theatre and art is truly such a special thing that can heal, transform, and connect people in a way that nothing else can.

With More Más Marami, she aims to support the voices of artists in the Bay and give space to those that have something that they want to create or share. As Casting Director, she wants to give emerging actors the opportunity to perform and playwrights the ability to have their words be seen and spoken out loud.
