When their friend succumbs to suicidal ideation, four college students use time travel to try to save him.
Ryan and Niko share an apartment together and have grown to be best friends. However there’s one secret they’re both keeping from the other. Niko is the mighty superhero The Steel Savior whereas Ryan is his dastardly nemesis Dire Strait. When Ryan discovers his roommate has been his archenemy this whole time, he is confronted with the fact that this friendship might be harder to keep than he thought.
Maxine (recently married) is packing up her bedroom to get ready to move into an apartment with her spouse, Taylor. Taylor goes off to work, so Maxine spends the day with her parents and her sister-in-law, Tina. She tries to get by as she’s caught off guard by her parents sharing some news as well as trying to calm Tina’s emotional outbursts—all while she’s holding on to some news of her own that she can’t find the time to share.

We're starting off 2020 with two nights and four scripts written by four local playwrights. Over the month of January, these writers will be writing, rehearsing, and rewriting their scripts for a staged reading with an audience. After each scripts reading, the audience will have a chance to contribute feedback to the writer.
